Genevensis will tolerate more sun than reptans if adequate moisture is provided. It does not spread as aggrssively as reptans and is not stoloniferous.
Soft green foliage with rounded lobed leaves and tiny yellow star-shaped flowers. Water droplets collect on foliage, creating a silvery effect. Flowers are excellent cut and in dried arrangements; should be removed when fading so plant doesn't go to seed.
Selected at the Morton Arboretum and introduced by the Chicagoland Grows Program. Airy 2" white flowers followed by clusters of polished purple-black berries.
