Forms a low carpet of tiny succulent green leaves; the tips of each stem turning yellow. Tiny golden star-shaped flowers

Evergreen groundcover. Rhizomatous. Site in a shady location. Good choice for underplanting shrubs and trees.

Large leaf size. Though hardy, it may be damaged by winter winds and sun and does best with protection from both.

Genevensis will tolerate more sun than reptans if adequate moisture is provided. It does not spread as aggrssively as reptans and is not stoloniferous.
